We are delighted to announce our new collaboration with Nigerian artist Alex Peter Idoko. 

Born in 1992 in Abuja, Nigeria, he is a self-taught pyrographic artist whose work fuses the heat of fire and the texture of wood to create poignant, expressive works. Although he has a degree in accounting, art has always been his true passion. His artistic journey is characterized by constant evolution, from using fire and razor blades to carve patterns on wood to a new exploration: pyrography on canvas. This unique process, which he has christened Pyro-fusionnisme, marries the warmth of wood with acrylic, creating works in which each element seems to blend harmoniously. Using fire and the blade as tools of revelation, Alex fashions scenes imbued with calm and introspection. His creations are windows onto moments of deep emotion, capturing the many facets of the human experience, nourished by the richness of his socio-cultural environment. Each work becomes a mirror, not only for the stories it tells, but also for the artist himself, who inscribes his own vulnerabilities and strengths.
