In the context of Normandie Impressionniste, the Arthotheque of Caen hosts the collective exhibition "Serial Couleurs" from 26th September to 10th January 2021.

Colour is being experimented at the Artothèque in Caen until January 10th. Making colours shiver, isn't that what impressionist painters have achieved?

At the beginning of the 21st century, what do contemporary artists still owe to this movement which has brought about so many fundamental changes? A common outlook on the things of life, a desire to bear witness to a society turned upside down by technological innovations, an anti-academic stance coupled with a desire for independence. Sérial Couleurs is built on a double approach: colour as the subject of the work itself and the use of seriality.

A group exhibition with Gaël Davrinche, THIBAUT BELLIÈRE, ÉTIENNE BOSSUT, ÉMILIE BREUX, JOËL HUBAUT, ROMAIN LEPAGE, OLIVIER MASMONTEIL, ANITA MOLINERO and ELSA TOMKOWIAK.
