Alfred Cheng is a thread artist based in Hong Kong. A self-taught artist who has mastered his craft to illustrate contemporary visions through weaving a single strand of thread on canvas. Alfred believes that only through the interconnectedness of each other, can the ultimate well- being of all existences be balanced and at peace.
In Alfred’s eyes, there are no boundaries and nothing is absolute. It is this vision that allows the artist to explore the endless possibilities of interconnectedness and his unique approach to ‘thread painting’.
